
About Our Centre and Staff
Started in 1991 as a centre of administration and training for the Christian Brothers in Zambia,
it soon opened its property and programmes to include participants from other African countries and beyond.
A staff of dedicated women and men have served the many groups and individuals over the years.
We off our facilities to groups from parishes, congregations, organizations to conduct there own programmes and we offer programmes designed specially to the needs of specific groups and individuals.
Our Facilities offer various choices:
a Hall with PA system that can hold up to 200 people,
an Insaaka for 75 people,
Edmund Rice House with 17 en suite rooms with twin beds,
Nano Nagle House with 13 en suite rooms with twin beds.
Shihemo Cottage with five bedrooms
and two cottages that house four people in each.
There are two Chapels, seminar rooms, lounges, kitchens and dining rooms
all set in ample grounds and gardens. We have a soccer pitch adjacent to the ISC.
Our Staff include
A Mercy Sister and 3 Christian Brothers, 3 chefs, 2 house keepers,
grounds men and watchmen. We a have a 17 seater bus for groups.
We are situated within walking distance of the Marian Shrine and Chelston Parish. A 5 minute drive to Chainda St. Monica's parish and 15 minutes from the Kenneth Kaunda International airport. We are a 5 minutes walk to 2 shopping malls, public transport is easily available 5 minutes away at the ZAF Mess.
Costs;
Typically it costs ZKW 250 per person per day for accommodation and meals.
